An
exceptional group of musicians performed alongside me on
the pilot series of concerts in 2008 and they are featured
on the recordings.
Rhodri
Davies harp
Rhodri has his own unique style of playing. It is an entirely
fresh Celtic language, which is a synthesis of traditional
and improvisational approaches. As well as his lyrical soloing,
he brings a deeper dimension of sound to the music by giving
the harmony added power and sustain. Rhodri is a Welsh speaker
and plays a full size concert harp.
Paul
Morgan double bass
One of the world's top session players, Paul is the foundation
for the music. He has great feel and a melodic approach with
an earthy resonant sound. He has performed and recorded in
virtually every genre of music.
